Transition bikes 2018

Transition bikes have been very busy recently with the TR11 prototype hitting the world cup circuit and the launch of the Transition Sentinel featuring Transitions new Speed balanced Geometry. Rolling to the end of 2017, the Patrol, Scout and Smuggler have done three years and change had to be on the cards, we expected some boosting and maybe more reach to keep up with the enduro trends and some flashy new colours.

Since Transition launched the Giddy Up range in 2015 Lars at Transition Bikes has been taking a different approach to developing the next evolution by looking at fork offset along with reach, head and seat angle. Rather than getting sidetracked with making a plus bike or an e-bike (and both have their place) or making the lightest or the fastest Transition have stayed true to their core values and produced a new approach to frame design to offer more control, more confidence and more party. For us its great handling bikes that make mountain biking fun.

Although the 2018 line has yet to be officially launched, and it will probably be Eurobike before we see the new bikes,it’s a fair assumption that the new 2018 Transition Patrol, Smuggler and Scout will feature the same Speed Balance Geometry as the new Sentinel. We will tell you more as and when we find out.

In the mean time we are taking pre orders for October delivery on the new Transiion range, best to give us a call to discuss further and bag your new SBG Transition bike, frame or bundle deal. All Pre orders taken before the end of July will receive a 10% PHC credit bonus which can be used getting your build started with maybe a maybe a headset and invisiframe or a nice bar and stem combo?
