Here’s the Cyclesheme press release:

The list of items that Cyclescheme will accept under the Cycle to Work scheme has grown. We will now accept any cycle accessory, component or part that ensures the safety and longevity of a customers' commute.

Plush Hill Cycles can now sell these cycle parts and components through Cyclescheme:

✓ Frames

✓ Groupsets

✓ Gears

✓ Brakes

✓ Brake discs

✓ Wheels

✓ Cranksets

✓ Cassettes

Cycle accessories like locks, lights, reflective clothing, luggage, etc. can continue to be sold through the scheme. Non-essential items like GPS computers and cameras remain prohibited.

WHY HAS THE LIST GROWN?

At Cyclescheme we’re committed to making cycle commuting accessible and affordable. Growing the list of allowable items means we can further support existing cyclists through the scheme.

This change falls within an interpretation of the HMRC and Department for Transport guidelines and maintains the ‘common sense’ approach.
