Following its launch earlier in the summer the draft version of the Long Mynd Mountain bike map has been well received with very positive feedback from local trail users and visiting mountain bikers. National Trust has now run out of copies of the map but you can still pick them up here at PHC. The map will be amended and re-printed for spring 2011; any further feedback is gratefully received.
Winter time Soft trails
Now that winter is set in the trails are turning soggy, slippy yet grass and soft muddy trails. Please stick to the main trails to minimise damage, ride through rather than round puddles to prevent the traills widening
Minton Batch Storm Damage
At the bottom of Minton Batch a couple of parts of the trail have been claimed by the stream: Ride with caution.
Top of the Batch Soft conditions
At the top of Batch Valley near Jinlye conditions remain boggy, keep to the board walk to protect the trail getting wider and cut up.
